TensionPro has expanded its workforce to satisfy export lead demand, particularly from the global wind energy sector, for its innovative range of bolt tensioners. Overall year-on-year export sales have increased by 40%.

Four new positions have been created in the last 12 months to boost the company's engineering design, internal sales, export and logistics departments. The new recruits bring with them a wealth of experience in customer relationship management, as well as specialist knowledge in areas like export legislation and Finite Element Analysis, used to predict how components react to stress.

Growing demand from the global wind energy sector has seen more businesses using TensionPro's equipment for wind turbine generator applications, to ensure speed, control and safety when working on the monopile to transition piece, foundation bolts, tower bolts, blade bolts and gearbox. As well supplying all types of hydraulic bolt tensioners, hydraulic nuts, pumps, hoses and ancillary equipment, the company provides specialist tools for bolt load measurement.

Commented TensionPro Director, Dave Metzger: "Our business has expanded considerably over the past five years thanks to success in export sales. The last twelve months has been particularly impressive with a 40% increase in overseas orders, the largest of these coming out of North America but also the global wind energy sector generally. What makes us stand out is our focus on superior customer service. We offer a solutions and engineering-based approach and team up with trusted local partners across the world to deliver ongoing technical expertise and after sales support. Our new recruits will ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customer base going forward."
